• Duryodhana finds out that the Pandavas are still alive and is upset but Dhritarashtra, the king, does not hate them and invites them back into the kingdom, offering to give them ownership of part of the kingdom
• The two cousins play a game of dice where one of the Pandavas brothers loses everything and gambles everything away, including his wife
• eventually the Pandavas lose another game of dice and have to go into exile
