my storybook favorites
The Karma Diaries
Karma has always been something I've believed in and been fascinated by. Therefore, this storybook is one of my favorites because it talks about a topic that I'm interested in and does it in a very creative way. Not only was the title of this storybook enticing, but it's introduction was also very mysterious. The author's tone helped set my mood for the story, which I continued to read on my own free will because of how interested I was in the plot. Although I was already familiar with the topic karma, the author gave the topic a twist. I also believe the layout of the storybook fits the story's vibe perfectly, allowing the visuals to enhance the story.

The Women of the Ramayana: A Storybook
I am not familiar with this topic at all, however, this storybook makes it easy to follow along and learn more about Ramayana. I think the introduction is very easy to follow along, however, there was nothing that made it interesting or stand out. Still, I do enjoy that the storybook's point of view is from the perspective of different women.
Gossip Girl Ayodhya
Gossip Girl is the name of a very popular TV show that I watched when I was in middle school/early high school so the title of this storybook immediately caught my eye. Even though I was familiar with the topic, I was familiar with the theme so I was excited to read the storybook Also, the introduction is very similar to the actual TV show, but I can see where the author used their own creativity to intertwine the topic in.
This image is commonly assocaited with the show Gossip Girl, which the author used as a theme in their storybook.
